Our friends at Melksham have a tiny front garden with no fencing Gee. They hang up one small bird feeder and these lovely little birds come when they fancy. They are like Gannets with the hulled sunflower seed. They are about 4 foot from the kitchen window and very nervous too. I got a good photo from the bedroom window of four of them feeding. They have cat lodgers and the birds are watchful. Our Mistle thrushes are still around but as visitors for cut up grapes. So the Blackbird has been celebrating with 'summersaults' on the garden wall. Anyone else seen this happen.

Thanks, Marydoll :)
I haven't seen so many of these this year, Dorjac, about 4/5 at the most. Still no thrushes in my garden but lots of blackbirds but Hoppity is still seeing them off in spite of having only one leg. I'm rooting for her all the time :)
