Oh fantastic ! very beautiful flowers. How excellent you are to select little rock garden for growing it !!! I think your garden is the best selection for plants to belong to genus Pulsatilla. I think this is one variety of genus Pulsatilla and the name is provably 'Pulsatilla patens', because yours is blooming upright. The other variety I know bloom half-noddingly or sidewise.
