I live not far from a playground, also lots of children living and visiting homes around here, some folk just do not think, it makes me so cross, they cannot see into a lot of our gardens, seems they don`t care..

Don't mention air pistols to me :o(( In a previous house, there was a block of flats behind it, and I saw a boy shooting what I thought was a gun, randomly through the window. I was conserned for people walking there with their dogs, and children playing, and also for Fluffy (the then cat)
I reported it to the police, who later told me "Don't worry, it was only an air pistol" .... and they said they went there and told him how to use it properly !!! WHAT !!! :O
So don't mention the police either. I often think they are just as idiotic as the criminals. I can give many more examples, but I won't. I don't want to get irritated ...

Your garden is really lovely lincslass, sorry to hear about the damage to your greenhouse how annoying and upsetting for you.

When I was young my uncle caught somebody trying to shoot a cat with an airgun so he took it off them and smashed it up the person then brought there dad down to sort my uncle out they came off worse my uncle was a armature boxer. People like this make my blood boil when they get caught nothing will happen. Your garden is really lovely love the dog ornaments

oh what a shame, I hate air pistols too. I have had trouble with grown up idiots and their air pistols, police just do not do anything when you report it, they have better things to do I suppose. Shame it doesn't happen to their property then they would do something.

shall we all line up to do the wrapping Lincs, using his head to straighten it out each time?? I have a picture of a neighbour (grown up) just his hand poking out of the window with a ruddy great airpistol in his hand taking pot shots!! If anyone complains, I have the evidence!!!

It may be only an air pistol, but you can still do serious damaged to someone - any eye for instance

So annoying when you work so hard in your garden, I know what i'd do with them if I caught the little s--ts!!!

Up to now I haven't experienced anything happening to my greenhouse , but one year, the old boy near me on the allotment always used to sit in the same spot in his very large greenhouse and in one of the gardens behind the allotments, some teenagers and their dad were having target practice with a pellet gun. The old boy got out of his chair for a moment and a pellet went straight through the glass into where he had just been sitting. Its a good job he moved when he did. It was reported to the police and, guess what, nothing happened. Apparently it was on their own property. But fancy facing the allotments when they were shooting!
