Our Beloved Malik went to sleep in my arms at 11 am today. It was obvious the medicine was not not helping him so I had to ask the vets to come here. Our lads condition worsened so quickly but now he is not hurting anymore………

He was truly loved, to the end, without condition, and with all the respect and honour he deserved.
Now you look after yourself, and know that you did all in your power for this lad.
Bless you.

No words can take the pain away,
But memories keep him close at bay,
Your love, your boy, your faithful friend,
The best of life, right til the end.
Now he's gone, you'll no doubt cry,
Ask yourself the question why,
He had to go and leave you here,
But just be strong and hide that tear.
The home he had, the love you gave,
Kept him strong, made him brave,
The good times had, were such a joy,
Now at peace, you're beautiful boy.
Rest now, poor Malik and Lincslass, never let him far from your memories and he will be there in all you do.
Our thoughts are with you at this time.
Take care
Dan & Ali

We would like a dog but work commitments determine it wouldn't be fair as it would be left alone too often and I couldn't do that.
A dog needs that time, love and devotion that the likes of Lincslass was able to give.
Thanks San.
And TT.

I have just been reading your other blogs about Malik I am so sorry it ended in this way and so quickly. Many of us have been through this it is so heartbreaking.
Our two died of old age and though we were fortunate to have them so long it still hurts. My thoughts are with you and hope you can receive a little comfort from all your friends here.
As many have said you couldn't have cared for him any more than you did.xxx

I'm so sorry Lincslass! I know how hard it is to lose a beloved pet. They're more like our children than animals.
I hope your sadness will be tempered by the knowledge that you did what was best for your boy.
You are in my prayers.
Shanti (I wish you peace)
