Earl Grey - our cat

Sadly our cat passed away on 13th August. He had been diagnosed with a tumour and lasted for a few weeks before we called it a day. He was a gorgeous cat, with a great personality and a liking for a bit of ham!! I will miss him sitting with me in the greenhouse while I sowed seeds or did potting on and around the garden, where he had so many favourite spots to sit.
We brought him home and he is under the Cherry plum, surrounded by the garden he loved.
I will plant some bulbs in the autumn and allow the poppies to grow in that place too. We are very sad but have great memories of a wonderful cat! Never forgotten.

Sorry Pam he was a handsome lad and of course you`ll miss him greatly but you have happy memories of his years with you.
We have pets in our garden and one special area is still known as Shandy`s garden after a dog we had when mine were babies, its also the resting place for our cats, none are ever forgotten but in time the happy times come to mind first.......

Hi pam. Sorry to hear about your dearly loved cat. All pets get to be one of the family and when they go it is always a big loss. I remember a few years ago when our budgie died we buried him under the cherry tree. When I lived in Rutland as a youngster we had all the pets buried in the garden, my dad made round graves for them and put a rose bush on each one. Will you be getting another cat soon to replace him?. When one of our cats or dogs died my parents always (bought) got another one as soon as possible afterwards...somehow it made the thing of missing the dead one a lot easier.
