Have been looking forward to seeing this, and it hasn't disappointed! Can look at it for hours. The colour changes with the light, from almost black, to dark maroon, to a dark chocolate brown.

Today, another 2 blooms appeared, and were definitely very dark 90% cocoa chocolate brown, but try as i might, all pics come out making them look purple. :-))
Easily available, I should think, as most GCs here have had them this year. Taylors bulb packs, £2.49 for 2 bulbs. Each bulb of ours is producing at least 4 flowers.
