The spiders are so clever aren't they , it shows off their handy work so well .. :o))

We've had one across the dining room window for a while but the winds the other day wrecked his web, so sad, it was so nice to watch, much better than having clean windows.

Me to Linda , I have a friend who can Crochet brilliantly I could never get the hang of it ..! it was Lindak , it's shame they don't last long .. :o)

I learned to crochet years ago and had to learn right handed as the patterns run that way. It's a lot easier in a way than knitting as if you drop a stich you don't have all the mess of going back like you do with knitting. You are woking with the few stitches or one stich on the hook. I made jumpers, doileys, ponchos blankets and even a dress for myself.

Imagine crocheting a whole dress you are clever Lindak ... . I'm much better at sewing /embroidery etc. I've completed a nice long stitch picture of The organ grinder ( LS .Lowery ) recently ... It looks good framed .. :o)

I bought Gerry a tapestry to do several years ago and he completed it very well we have it framed in the kitchen.I admire people who embroider and sew.

I'm not that good at crocheting. I make simple things. At the moment I'm making a shawl for my niece who's expecting a baby at the end of October. At the rate I'm working she'll be having it next October. lol. I've knitted more than crochet. I've made dresses for my girls when they were little, but anything too big now, and I find it hard to hold on to. I've just finished making a Bolero and Beret for the young Granddaughter, and am very pleased with it, as I've never made a Beret before.

Apparently a lot of acting people take up embroidery / Tapestry Lindac , it calms them and fills their time waiting for their ' turn ' ... , I bet Gerry's Tapestry gets admired in the kitchen for all to see ..:o)

I'm sure you will get the shawl finished Linda ...there's all those dark evenings coming when we can't go out into the garden ,, the Bolero and Beret sounds a lovely set , your granddaughter will look cute in them ...
