The feet are useful for getting near to the raised bed plants... This part of the garden is quite sheltered and I guess that helps bring the colour on sooner :o)

lovely vivid colours and raised to bring them closer to the eye, and the wall is such a contrast it adds strongly to the image. Do you intend to plant the wall at a later stage, or "moss" it?

I built this raised bed some years ago from recycled brick sections ... I keep that part of the wall the sandstone colour.

understandable, it certainly provides a vivid backdrop to the colours above and below!
