Oh, thank you everyone, you are kind. You would have laughed if you had seen me on my knees before 6 this morning in the park on the way to work! Having spotted the cobweb I had to have a try, some of the water drops were frozen at that point.
I came back after work and got this shot! The ducks were a bit put out cos they had to move!

It's a canon powershot G10, not an SLR but small enough to carry easily! Thanks nana.

oh sorry, it means single lens reflex ~ they tend to be a bit bigger and more complicated ~ i think it means you look at the image you are taking as opposed to having a viewing window to see what shot you are taking. SLR is the best you can have but mine and lots of others now are making cameras that take nice pictures but are not so complicated.

not only have you got a very nice pic of dewdrops you have also captured the planets perfectly, with all thier orbiting moons ; )

That is simply stunning, Sticki! Did you ever consider photography as a profession ? If not, why not??? Your photos are inspirational. I once read a collection of stories by Joan Aitken, entitled- 'A Necklace Of Raindrops' - and that is what your fabulous photo brings to mind for me. Nature beats us hands down when it comes to design!
