oh thanks Oji ~ i rather think you are right, I learned to cut the glass this time ~ so thats it now!! have to find the nearest glass supply next!!!

how is your mosaic and glass getting on pimms?

Not started yet Sticki.....I need a supplier where I can see the glass..Though I do have enough to do something.

that ripply one you have is really hard to use i found, beautiful and there are a few little bits in this one but the hard part is getting the grout out of the fissures afterwards!! probably my fault for being too messy!!

I am tempted to climb up in to the attic to look for some missing glass...but not sure I will be able to get back down again. :/

Lol...Very ambitious 5ftx3ft or 4ftx2.5ft bases as you can see more glass is a must............or a saw.

yep, quite ambitious but it will be fabulous, i love glass. how about a little one to experiment first? eg a small garden slab/slate?? i think you can get some around 12" square?

Sticki is the perfect pupil, I have my little say, go off to make us a cuppa, come back and this magical mosaic has grown into it's fern shape. So reflective. Well done you.

Well done Sticki. That is superb! - Love it! You must find somewhere really nice to put it in the garden now. I can really picture it at the back of an arch with a large pot of something in foreground. Nice to find hidden talents. Well done to Lulu too for being such a good teacher.

im so pleased with it lulu, it took about 10 photos to get this one cos everywhere you put it it reflects a different colour ~ which i love!!! that photo is pretty much in the shade, right now its completely in shade, in front of me but its still shining away ..........its made me want to make more!!! i could put this one in about 3 different places!!!

i remembered what was in the pot today!!! never mind ~ maybe i could come and fetch it some time??? thanks again lulu ~ and btw lunch was absolutely gorgeous. i think its marmite sandwiches for me today!!!

It's clearly been made with love - hence the beautiful result. Lulu is obviously an inspirational teacher, especially since you'd like to make more. Maybe you could just keep moving it around the garden to wherever it looks best at the time.
