It is certainly dramatic. DD, I hope you feel ok now, are you exhausted? I don't do well if I don't get my 8 hours, but I know not everyone is the same. ;)

Poor dear...hope you have some luck finding this amazing rose, so you can finally get some sleep! Going to take lots of attention, don't you think? It will be THE feature for a special bed. What's doing in your garden this year? Saw a couple of your comments, but no pics! Or have I been snoozing?

My goodness have never seen anything like it, wonder if it is easy to grow? sorry about your sleeping, been there, over 12 years now, drives me mad, waiting to see some of your tropical pics YDD!!

Oh pooh! I thought you were branching out YDD! Thanks for the intro though...I've been growing the tiny ground cover type roses...they are miniature in stature. The blossoms are tiny but perfect and the colour range is amazing. I have had white, cream, red, peach, yellow, etc. etc....in my other garden. When I moved I tried to move them but was not successful...bought some deep red ones and they are just starting to bloom...looking healthy and sturdy.

Just googled it, the picture is a catalog photo and has been repeated over and over apparently it is more red than that the picture shows.
As Amy said almost unreal,or to good to be true.

wow from me too...

Lovely coloured rose.

AS someone above commented - it does look unreal, too perfect to be real. I'm sure that outside in an unprotected from the elements it wouldn't look half as nice - more's the pity!

17 Jun, 2012

yes wow - its beautiful.

17 Jun, 2012

I want one .... It's lovely ... Wot is it .....

17 Jun, 2012

I love this rose! Does anyone know where one might get this plant??

19 Jun, 2012

DD2:....the minis I was commenting on have a very light scent...not really much at all...but they make up for that with the number of blooms.. will add pic so you can see what I mean.
YDD: too much land...that's the problem. I'm trying to be in too many places at once and progress is slow and spotty as well. Have decided to "downsize" (concentrating on the area near the house now. ) all it takes is time... ;-)
