i never use this umbrella, i cant be bothered with them, rather get wet!!! [dont like anyone holding one for me either!!!]

I know what you mean, I buy them, loose them, buy one again, never use it, go somewhere where it's really wet (like the races) wish I'd brought it along. Give up! Rather turn it into a pond! A spinning, colourful pond!

hopefully I have just a little hope for end of July and August could be great - I feel a late summer this year - september will be very dry and warm - bvecuase I go on holiday then ;))))))

Made me chuckle too - you've gotta laugh haven't you? Must admit I like being under an umbrella when it's chucking it down. Thinking about it . . I don't actually own one at the moment! ;-)

we used to play parachute games with the children in school and one of their favourites was when you bring the whole thing down like a mushroom with all of the children inside!!!

It reminded me of one of those parachutes, Sticki! How I used to love those (once took part in a session as one of a "class" of other teachers on a course - it was great, I've never forgotten it!)

Have you tried supply work? I got the biggest buzz of all out of that. Although I don't think there's as much of that around anymore - not short-term, anyway.
