blue poppies

I know what you mean about the orange background, but I love the idea of using Tissue paper and the finished picture has a very contemporary look and a mediterean feel, I like it;0))

I said it on facebook and I'll say it here too....you've got the poppy colour spot on San! :D I love the tissue paper effect. I've started my big tissue paper pic. I've done some tree shapes and I'm going to add some hosta leaves with tissue paper too....funnily enough the background is golden..like a sunset! ;) Will show you when I get around to finishing it!

no probs Linda think i would have chosen like you but i could see where art lady wasnt comming from and it is a complimentry colour and makes the poppies stand right out, we all have our views and thats good :o))

Lovely Sandra, the tissue paper really does give it texture doesn't it. Love your leaves at the bottom too:-)
