im made up, if it makes people smile iv done my job, nice to sell something but its about making people smile more and i enjoy painting.
Les,,, i love oils but take so long to dry inbetween layers but the effect is lovely, i may do an oil painting inbetween using acrylic, also you can get oil paints that are quicker drying now, on eman at the studio works with them.
need to try watercolours to, its having time for everything, working part time and a hubby, there is alot to be said about being on your own,, i miss at times but wouldnt be without Baz :o)))

Homebird, what is the brand of mixable oils you use, sounds interesting. I gave up using oils because of lack of space now to leave them to dry plus the fact they smell for a while too.

Thanks Homebird, I'll see if I can get some and have a go. Do you just add water? because with the oils I used years ago I added linseed oil to the paint as well. I remember doing a wash all over the canvas first, then applyed the paint.

thanx Lily all librarys do this around blackpool area, you should find out about librarys near you, its free and they take commission if you sell any which isnt alot, so im hoping to do other librarys and also the methodist church near me also does it now :o))

thankyou so much janey, yes it is mevagissy though i named it wrong and put padstow lol, well we know what i mean hahaa, get going with it janey in winter when not so much to do in garden :o))

May give it a go San, I could do with a room really so you can get everything out and not have to put it away till your finished.....saying that though, it may be there years...lol!

lol janey, i have my box room and isnt big enough for projects sometimes, especially when i need to lay canvas flat, even floor space is limited haha, so its up and down stairs for me depending what im doing :o))
