I love anemones. I shall be keeping an eye out for some to plant under my hedge. Fran, there are loads of different kinds....some real treasures.

what oritentation does it have? I mean, which direction-facing? I;ve got shrubs all over, and I might be able to find a direction it likes ...

Thanks everyone they are sweet little flowers , Mine are facing west Fran but I think anywhere sheltered near or under shrubs should be o.k they like the sun they turn their heads to face it ....

I love mine. Like you said Amy, love the way they face the sun and turn around during a sunny day. Mine seem to be spreading nicely.

Thank you they are a pretty blue like yours mine are spreading Dawn about a sq.metre now , funny thing is I'm finding the odd plant in other areas of the garden ,I expect we dig something up from one place transplant it in another taking a portion with it !

Great Amy. Its nice to have them around, I like these small bulbs, they are no trouble and die down until next Spring.

As I don't like daisy like flowers it's strange that I like these enough to have started a good sized colony going! No idea why I make an exception for them, but they are nice!

The white is the wood anemone, Anemone nemorosa, i woud love a carpet amongst my trees. Have bout 5 lol
