how did you get such a great shot? i cant get near the birds in my garden...are you near strathfillan by any chance? we want to book a wig wam there for next christmas its been recommened for the snow!

Nice shot! You might want to try to sharpen it up just a bit more in photoshop. Sometimes it's just amazing what is still in the photo and can be brought to light.

This is an English robin. The robins in America are quite different, more like a blackbird with a red breast.

Oh my God, what a sweety! Don't you just loooove robins? I do, and for fortune, they come almost daily to my little garden to "visit me". Would they guess how much i like it when i see them? I don't know.... but maybe they somehow "sense" when they are very much welkome somewhere, hahaha..... Beautiful pic!

I love robin's too Holantina, We have had two fighting over the garden. They are such cheerful little birds, full of bounce and lovely birdsong.

i've decided robins are just posers...lol. they seem to love havin there photos taken...
