As some of you know we go to a few muis festivals each year. Along with the music there are great things dotted around the sites for decoration and education. some simple some awesome….we attended a local festival two weeks ago and i took some pics for you guys….
my husband Julian reading the info.
the lady who makes the willow ladys gives weaving workshops. i’ve attended one in the past but was working as a steward this year and missed it…next year…;-))
the festival was more mud rock than blue rock this year. the kids firld was very well prepared.
there was a wellie cleaning station manned by a voleneer who sang silly songs whilst washing off the mud……
having had your wellies cleaned they then walked the plank tto enter the circus school…
we all had a great time and hope you liked the tour…;-))

I thought Washington state had a pretty temperate climate?
8 Sep, 2009
Depends on what part you are in...it is a big state..has Mt. ranges through it..I live on the Ocean side but on a peninsula and we have a Mt. range on the peninsula as well..we are in the Rain Shadow of the Olympic Mt. range. Eastern Washington is high plains deserts and has some of the same hot dry and very cold extremes like Gilli does in Kamloops B.C. to my north..only a little over 300 miles away..very extreme climates here in a short distance.
