too hot here too. Hubby had to go up on the roof to sort out a break in the lead flashing. Rain came in last week, down through the kitchen lights oops.
your garden is looking good.

It's been unseasonably hot here too Sheila. I really must remember to take my camera out with me the next time I'm in the garden. Some nice pics of your garden blooms.

The garden is looking very lush with lovely plants. I do like your Nandina. My 'Obsession' did nothing in the ground so it's now in a pot and looking much happier and twice the size. What sort of conditions do you give it, Sheila? I think our soil must be too dry.
Spent the afternoon with friends in their shady garden. Good to be out of the heat.

Your garden is beautiful Sheila, I love the view from your green house.
It's been hot here today too but I enjoy nice weather in the autumn.

Lovely pics, Sheila. The nandina is a pretty one. Been hot here today, not too pleasant in my uniform - thank goodness for AC! 🥵

Thank you for your lovely comments everyone 🙂.
Ange, this Nandina is in fairly poor soil in a stony bed which only gets watered when it rains! So it seems to be thriving on neglect ...

Lovely photo's Sheila, it was hot here also I had to retreat indoors, mustn't grumble though we might put the mockers on ourselves, lol....

Lovely garden & plants. Let's enjoy the summer weather while it lasts, even tho' it was too hot most of the day. Soon those winter nights will be drawing in, :-(

Quite right Josee. Hot again today (playing croquet), but a lovely temperature late afternoon to sit in a shady area watching the birds. Only came in at 7.30.

Very hot here and I loved it! Love the view from your greenhouse Sheila.. Had a cuppa in a friend's walled garden, putting the world to rights..:))

You have a stunning collection there Sheila. The Nandina has always been a favorite of mine. It will become a head turner as it matures.

Thank you Janey - you and your friend had the right idea :))
Thanks Paul ... yes, Nandinas are great!

Such a pretty view from your greenhouse Sheila. Yesterday here we had sea mist down at the coast but it was still pleasantly warm.
The view from our greenhouse is not so good! A wildflower patch that should look better next year, a row of empty bee hives and two apple trees with hundreds of apples ready to fall each day!!!

Thanks Chris. Yes, wildflower patches do take their time, so hope it improves next year 🙂.

Too hot here too. Loving your Nandina. My domestica is getting too big for it's space so I've got to move it. This looks nice and compact.
