Fuschias doing really well Sheilar as your petunias, I know they go leggy but I never pull them out until they`ve really given up the ghost.

Love the first picture, Beautiful rose. I would love all your flowers.....If I had the room. You kept the apple tree quiet, do you eat them ?

Thanks Denise, Ojibway, Dwyllis, Michaella
Libet and Lincslass, the two fuchsias are late flowerers and usually continue until the snow comes!
Pix, we have a south facing back garden which is quite sheltered but I don't think we'll get more sun than you!
Hywel, I found an unopened packet of candytuft in the shed (years out of date) and threw them in the garden and they grew! I've got two different lots of mimulus which I haven't planted. One's a magenta colour (on the photo) and the other one was a red. I don't know where they came from, I definitely didn't plant them (? presents from the birds), but they're spreading lovely.

Looking wonderful,Sheilar..my Weigela is still flowering too..or more like a second flush..I love the Dollar Princess Fuchsia, and nice to see them hanging on in there..I will be so sad to see all the flowers disappear...Gale force winds and heavy rain here tonight..and cold !..Mine might be gone, sooner than later..:o((

Thanks Franny, Costas, Terratoonie, Stroller, Nana d and Scottish for your comments.
Meadowland, OH did help me with the photos. Loads of them were rubbish and blurred but I'm continuing trying!! As for the gardening, he does any heavy digging and I do the planting.
Pimpernel, I've never kept the apples secret!!! lol The trees were in the garden when we bought the house 18 years ago. We get an average of 200 lbs of apples each season (not bad eh?) but they are cooking apples so no, I don't eat them, cook with them though. But the majority of them I give away to friends and neighbours to enjoy!
