Nothing more to say about it really – I was just over the moon with it.

Hi Sue, I'm still waiting for mine to show any sign that they're still living, but I thought the same thing last year, then got a few flowers, Derek.

That's the only one - the others are nowhere near yet.
Sheila - I had before I saw the pic again this evening!
Hywel, I think the first one you sent me will probably be next.

Stunning photos and so early.
I've just been to check mine and buds only. Are yours in full sun? Mine are in quite a shady sheltered spot.

Yours will be OK Linmar . . . Hellebores prefer shade!

Lovely flowers, Steragram! :-))
I have a plant on my balcony also. I was given it last spring together with some Snowdrops by a lady from our allotments field. The plant I have has greenish/white flowers & they lasted a L-O-N-G time! I noticed a few days ago that it was growing again so I hope I get some flowers again.

Linmar - no, its in shade most of the day in winter - I think its probably an early variety.
Balcony, I have a green one too - I forget whether the current name is corsicus or argutifulius, I think it changed its name some years ago. I moved it last year so there's only one stem this year - they dodn't like moving about!
Thank you everybody for your comments - I just had to share the pics with somebody!
Derek, yours are sure to show up before long!

Truly lovely, very pretty indeed.

Wow, mine are only just showing above ground. Lovely to see :)

Thank you Shirley, Wildrose and Gee.
I think this one must be a double version of niger - it isn't growing very tall, and if that's what it is it would explain why its so much earlier than the others. The white one that I bought as niger some years ago is nowhere near flowering yet, and grows quite tall.I reckon the labels were wrong.
