Although the weather was a little misty it wasn`t too cold when you were on the move. So I took the opportunity to do a little tidying up in the patio area,
The first task was to clean up under and around the Mahonia and put my little Imp between it and the Hebe name unknown., you can just see him the photo is not too good – sorry about that.
This is the opposite side of the patio and this is the new home for my statue a pressy that hubby bought me for Christmas.
At the begining of the week hubby took me to David Austins and bought me a climbing rose Graham Thomas so today I got busy and made the trellis and put this against the Kitchen Wall and Graham Thomas was put in his place. Once again you can just make out the plant the light was terrible and I`m no good at photography.
Anyway I thoroughly enjoyed my day it was just great to be outdoors, I hope weatherwise your day hasn`t been too bad.
A tad late but must take the opportunity to wish all you goyers a “HAPPY NEW YEAR”.

Yes sticki I looked on members pics and blogs and and all mention the perfume, the big reason for putting it by the kitchen door.

Happy New Year Stroller...it's good to get out and about in the garden this time of the year...when you think what our gardens were like last year at this time.

Well done for getting out into your garden, Stroller ... makes you feel very satisfied to get out and do some work! ... I love your new statue ... my birdbath has a similar ivy pattern to it ... very pretty ... I'm sure Graham will climb well on your trellis ... happy new year wishes to you too! ... :o)

What a lovely blog Stroller. I do like your statues especially the Christmas present and you and Paul did me a favour in helping me to remember the name of the hebe I have near the gate. You have lots in flower and I can smell that glorious Mahonia from here. It has to be the shrub with everything.
