Its heartbreaking when we lose a pet as we all know but I always think its even harder when we don`t know what has happened to them, thank goodness for the micro-chipping, at least it can help sometimes.....

I know, I've gone into complete panic mode before when ones just gone out of sight up the park for a few mins.
So true what Lincslass said, sad when we have to say goodbye, but to not know where or whats happened to them..... Dont want to think about it.

What a great story and a lesson to be learned....never give up!! We lost a cat once (20+ years ago) and it was only the other day we were just talking about her and what ever happened to her. Pets will never forget a loving home.
BTW...had a wee tear too!!!

What a brill story, well sad aswell but so pleased for a happy ending, it just shows chipping your pets does pay off.

Cried tears of happiness seeing the video, TT, how lovely to have such a happy ending. One very happy dog (what a waggy tail!) and one happy family - great 'feel good' blog :)

What a great story and wonderful to have a happy ending. The video is very tearjerking, an amazing story, I wonder where she was all that time, does anyone know?. Reminds me of the time Mrs. Tommy escaped from her pen and went out the gate, crossed two roads and was met by a lady busily walking down a pavement, luckily the person who found her was an animal lover and took her home, when we eventually found her after three days she was happily munching away in the rockery. The family must have been so worried and for nearly two years. Good luck to them in the future.

That was lovely have to say had a cry it was so lovely to see them all re-united and what a happy doggy she was. A joy to watch and so refreshing to have a happy ending. Thanx made me smile :)
