FOR LULU'S BLUES

I know this girl who is really artistic
With shards of glass and some sort of mastic
She plays with the colours, blue, yellow and gold
And before too long lo and behold
There appears a picture ..fantastic.
Well they blossom and grow like her flowers
As she toils at her art many hours
And like jewels they appear
Cockerels, dogs and a deer
Bees and butterflies..magical powers!
So she thought to display them real fine
A rich velvet, less would be a crime
But she finds there’s no need
And she’s feeling aggrieved
Promptly downing a bottle of wine!
What to do with twenty four yards
With her bank balance lying in shards
Cushion covers it seems
will be haunting her dreams
For her friends this Xmas..times is ’ard!

Green velvet......hmm...long hooded 'druid' cloak perhaps....could be the GOY costume! Never mind the Green Man....Green Ladies!

Glad you enjoyed m'dear, but I hope it conveyed how clever and artistic I (and many others) think you are!
If my walls werent already full of pictures (far too many - already decluttering as one does in old age) I would love one to grace my home. All I can say is, keep trying..talent will out and you are young enough yet to make the big time..would be a shame if you had to cock up your toes before you got famous!

Lulu's got the blues again!! Traded in my old mobile for one of these android ones, it's big, confusing and it takes 2 hands to use it!! At least I have managed to record Jazzypup woofing and have it set as my ring tone!!
