Hello everyone, yes it’s me again,
Gosh it’s been a roller coaster the past few months but at last we have some good news.
Richard’s operations and treatments have all been successful and we were told this week he is officially in remission from both of his cancers.
It’s been a tough road, but as always when faced with problems we faced it together. Now we feel as if a great weight has been lifted off our shoulders. We are so grateful to everyone for their expertise and of course, so many people’s support.
We know a lot of the success is down to the fact that they caught everything early, so can I just urge everyone…if you get one of those tests in the post…do it. I realise it’s not pleasant, but neither is dying of cancer. It’s only thanks to Richard doing his test that we found both of his cancers as he had no symptoms whatsoever.
I’m going to try and catch up with you all, but it may take me sometime! I hope your gardens haven’t suffered too much in the heat and that you’re all prepared for a cooler autumn.
