Late December in our Garden.

This blog of mainly photos taken today December 28th, starts inside, then bravely goes outside and ends inside again!
Hope you like it, as you look at it in the warmth and comfort of your homes.
Can you see the rather scary face in the old weeping willow that is right outside our window looking in on me!
Quickly moving on to cheerier, less threatening things!
This is the view of the gentle Devon countryside at the end of our garden. I wonder if snow will cover it soon?
Time to head indoors I think. Come and join Rudolph by the fire – his days of cosiness are numbered by the way!!! When exactly is the 6th?!!
Time for a hot chocolate, move over Rudolph!

Very nice Wildrose. I never have much luck with hyacinths indoors, they always want to bloom far too soon ! Your garden looks great too. I think you must be a little warmer down there !

I am always seeing images in gnarled trees, yours is a scary one, straight out of Hobbit land, he appears to have an imp tucked away under his mouth .
Thankyou for inviting me to your garden Wildrose, mine is still white but I do have a clear blue sky you have a lovely view....

All your comments have made me smile, thanks very much for them.
The tree from Hobbit Land really is quite horrible isn't it? It is worse than I thought because I guess, over the years, I had grown accustomed to its face!!

Hello Rose and Janey, I loved your comments!
That tree is beginning to think it has celebrity status and is getting too big for his roots!!
Very best wishes for the new year.

That sure is one ugly face on that willow Chris, don't think much of his hair style either:-) You have some lovely early flowers there, very pretty. I've just looked again at the willow and regret my earlier comments ....he looks rather sad, a little like the elephant man, how cruel we all are .... sob ... where's me hanky?:-((
