Trelissic Gardens and RHS Rosemoor all in one!!!

Because of last week’s beautiful weather and a visit from the family, we were out and about in the sunshine. Here are just a few photos of each of the above to share with you.
Trelissic Gardens are in Truro, Cornwall and are truly at their best in April and May because of the range of azaleas and rhododendrons. They are run by the National Trust and look down on the River Fal.
The trees were still quite bare but I feel sure that they will look much greener by now.
There was a mist hanging over the water and it made the air quite chilly.
Moving closer to home now, let’s visit Rosemoor Gardens in Torrington, Devon. We go there many times during the year and really love the gardens as they manage to look beautiful no matter whether it is December or June!
[The above photo should be in the Trelissick section but I lost it and couldn’t get it back in the right spot!]
Our twin grandsons found lots to do there to amuse themselves as well and had a lovely time.
Both gardens are well worth a visit if you are down in the West Country………do they also serve a delicious cream tea? What do you think?!!!

What two lovely gardens,Chris..and you were so lucky with the weather too..your little Grandsons were certainly having a great time..:o) I do love the photo of the white Tulips and Bellis,at Rosemoor gardens. You are so lucky to live so near to this one.I wish we had known about Trelissick, when we stayed in Falmouth.,a few years ago..It's on my bucket list now :o)..the scenery and plants on both are wonderful ..and no,I wouldn't be interested at all in a cream tea..but I could be telling porkies :o) x

Lovely photos Chris - thanks for the visit. I think Trelissick must be the one by the King Harry ferry?? Fond memories, but I've never been to Rosemoor: it looks great.

Trellissick is close to the King Harry ferry.
I like the Roseland Peninsula, it worth a crossing on that ferry to get there easily.
