It is raining today after a long spell of dry weather and the garden is happy!
The roses are particularly happy!
The last two are taken from indoors as I am not too happy getting wet myself!!

You roses are lovely W'rose, it was lovely earlier, now turned very chilly so I've come indoors to get my sweater, been threatening to rain but not delivering, we could do with a full days worth of constant steady rain, no good when it comes down as a torrential shower which is what happened last time we had any, that was ten days ago, never satisfied are we, lol...I'm busy planting out so I'll be using my hose later, my shoulders and arms don't like the watering cans any longer...

we have had rain on more than off for the last 3 days. none of my roses are in flower yet so I will enjoy yours. but the garden certainly needed it.

They all look very healthy Chris and the rain has done them the world of good, but in a perfect world it would rain at night and be sunny in the day ! Hahaa!
Thanks for your last letter. I will reply soon! xxx

Many thanks to all of you for taking a look.
Are roses a bit early this year? Just a thought.
It is now warm and humid out there - black spot will be thriving!!

Yippee its raining so that is helping me, I don't use bought sprays W'rose but I have taken to making up my own garlic mix, I've found since using that I don't get as much blackspot as I used to, I was reading an article online the other night and the recommendation was to plant garlic under the roses, I haven't tried it yet but I am going to give it a go....

Beautiful WildR. The pink one third from bottom has sooo many buds. I associate roses with June, I have lots of buds but no flowers.
