I have to agree with Cinders, Gee both your garden and Millie are lovely, out of all the colours in the garden my favourite has always been green, where else can you get so many different shades of the same colour..
As usual your photo`s are really good......

Wonderful photos Gee and your garden looks great with all those evergreens. I'm a big fan of them too as I had the bare look in winter. Your pic of the climbing rose is beautiful and the hardy geranium with butterfly is a lovely shot :o))

It is often difficult to get the impression of colour in a garden, even if there a lot of things in flower, because they are spread around.
One possible solution is to have all the May flowers in one place, all the June ones in another and so on. The rest of the garden will be green and peaceful but you will have a good splash that continually moves with the seasons

The gardens looking lovely, Gee! How on earth you get any washing up done with that gorgeous view, enticing you out into the garden, I'll never know! Your clematis are beautiful, and I've always loved that double yellow geum!

You have all the colours of the rainbow there - very nice :) Millie is enjoying it aswell ...

Thanks for all your kind comments. I like that idea, Andrew, and I know I have made a mistake 'dotting' some plants around instead of grouping them, ie lupins. I will enjoy trying to correct my errors :)

It is a lovely garden Gee19 with the odd bits of colour here and there, and Millie looks happy :-)

Lovely blog, garden and best friend. You have a lot more colour than I have. My garden is quite green too, with all the shrubbery, but very peaceful to the eye, I think. :))

Well I for one think you have a lovely garden with plenty of interest, and you`ve taken some really good photos. Millie is obviously a big fan she looks most comfortably.

Your garden is great GEE and green can be very soothing. I agree with you that Andrews suggestion of blocks of plants blooming in season is worth considering.

Your garden is really lovely Gee, so well structured and lots of colour too. I love the first photo of Millie rolling around on her back having the time of her life! :o)

Ah bless Gee.....I don't believe you!! Maybe they are green!!! LoL!! Millie will tell you!

I too like shades of green, blue, yellow any foliage that is there year round, attracts me like a bee to a flower. They do not take half the care needed to look after perennials although I do have quite a few of those. I will take the advice to group the colours together in the different months because they will make a bigger impact than little pockets here and there. I do like your garden.

you certainly have some really lovely highlights in your garden Gee ~ but it was Millie that made me smile the most.
