Oo ah! Gee I'm not sure if I should ask how you came to damage your finger so badly ! I hope it will soon be better .. I love all your photo's ,it's nice to see the Tortoise back outside.
We have fields of Flax growing here I've never heard it called Fairy flax before ,I shall think of that everytime I pass a field from now on ! 2 hours walking a day ,gosh you must be as fit as a fiddle .. take care and be careful :o))

Glad and relieved to see you back Gee. I somehow thought you might have had a not too serious mishap, though bad enough. You have been busy, in spite of the poorly finger. I love your plant stand and the Heucheras too. Al those little birds and the jammed in the door tortoises....reminds me of It's a Knockout... that's a long time gone! Nothing doing here. Waiting on NHS as usual, but so is everyone. OH does family history on Ancestry.com

What a lovely lots of comments, thank you so much. I am glad to be back and am just about to settle down for the evening and do some catching up.
Amy, I have always called flax 'fairy flax' since being told what it was when I moved down here over 30 years ago. It reminded me of the lines from a long forgotten poem 'blue were her eyes as the fairy flax' :)
30 Jun, 2011
That's a nice line,
30 Jun, 2011
I shall call it that from now on Gee because it sounds so much nicer than Linseed which is what we normally call it .... yes I can see where it would remind you of the line from the poem , it's a nice one to remember ... :o)

Missed your smashing blogs Gee, you have such a way with both camera and captions to go with your photo`s.
I really like the plant stand, lovely choice of plants to go in it as well, as usual your pics of garden visitors are smashing, your robin is a cheeky one and the squirrel one I find very amusing, as to your tortoise, well I guess you need entrance and exit, lol.
Hope your finger mends soon and is not too painful for you Gee, take care...
