Brilliant :o)))

Its going to look great Gee. Making them beds bigger is a good idea, you can already see by the 1st side you've done how much better it will be.
Can the lawn & path not meet at the end of the garden between the 2 veg beds?
Can't wait to see pics when its all done, how exciting!

You reminded me Terra, I was so taken by the garden photos I forgot about the dodgy pic of Gee walking Millie at the end. Best do this under the cover of darkness me thinks! Lol.

Its all coming together Gee, I always start with a plan then end up changing things as I work my way through, that turf will soon break down and the earth will be really good and can then go back in the beds..Say thankyou Millie I`m saving your back, lol...

That brilliant, good work :)

Very nice. It's getting there, you will be please when you are finished :)
Don't tell anyone but I did just that with some of my turf....someone had dumped a load of wood cutting and things along in the woods - I have covered it over with some turf - hopefully this will help rot the wood down quicker.

Coming along nicely now Gee..I am doing the same as you at the moment..trying to sort a path out in the garden so i know how hard it is..except mine is on gravel not grass..good luck ..:o)

Brilliant idea to outline your plan in bricks - makes it much easier to visualise where you are going. Have you got plans for the bricks afterwards?

It's good to experiment. That way you are more sure to get it right in the end.
Love the last photo lol - no, nobody would notice ;o))

Brill idea Gee, its coming on, and I think recycling your turf in the woods is a great idea, bet there are loads of worms in those turfs too. I would love to see you stuffed with the turfs, pics. please!!! Lol

Love it Gee ! perhaps you could choose a day for your walk when Stanley is there to help Millie : o))

Steragram, the bricks will act as a mowing edge to the lawn but I will have plenty over for other things (just not sure what yet!)

I spent all day in the garden today and have managed to bury some of the turf as I went along. Seemed to work quite well. Amy, I will definitely think of recruiting Stanley if I get desperate :)

Wow thats really coming on Gee, its going to be great when you have finished, it is a good idea to loose some lawn to make your borders bigger, something I planning on doing, then you can have more lovely plants;0))

Oooh it's going to look wonderful, so looking forward to seeing it all in summer, and that idea of yours for turf dispersal is pure genius:-))

looking great Gee, can just picture you dropping lumps of turf on your doggy walks lol :o))

A carrier bag and a turf + a couple of daffodil bulbs under the turf would be nice. You could be a guerilla gardener of the woods!
