Cute as can be.

Ah I cannot resist ducklings, they are gorgeous and it does amuse me that no matter where you see them there is always one that lags behind, lol.
When they are taken to the pond does that mean they have left your garden or does mun bring them back for a while.
Its a lovely blog Gee, both photo's and the captions, I bet you have told many a good story to your family over the years....

Oh Bertie! Such fun....he,s a comic
We have a pair who come every spring the other day they went to sleep in the flower trough.....luckily its the one with thrift and hardy geraniums.....then sometimes a lone male joins them....each year...he must be Berties uncle.......:0))

Lovely pictures Gee, especially Bertie stepping out and not quite following the rest of the gang. I hope they all keep safe and well.

What a brilliant set of photos, just right for Easter, how lovely to have a brood of duckings in your own garden. All we get is a bl.... badger!!
7 Apr, 2012
Gosh, DD, How exciting! A Badger? "Badgers is good" but can be a bit on the dangerous side if you approach them, we were told. We get enormous, pale, rather aggressive ones here, and were startled once to be told by the local Forestry official that if we were ever to accidentally knock one down, to stay inside the car, not to get out under any circumstances and to phone their emergency number, and they'd come and sort things out. Always thought of them as beautiful, shy, retiring, self-effacing creatures. (The badgers, that is, not the men from the "Forestale").

Gattina.....no badger is not good, see my blog!! badger is a bl.... pest, we will be penniless if he ruins any more fences, I am glad these are not as enormous as the ones over there.

Oh Dear!

I'm glad they found their way to the water :o) You must have been excited to have them nest in your garden ...

It is lovely to have them, Hywel, but I hate it when they go and I fear for them. The male with one foot missing returned this morning and waited until I put out some food for him :)

Thank you Gee. What a lovely Easter Day surprise for me when I came on to catch up. I will be going around grinning all day. I'm so glad they are now hatched and dispatched. Will look forward to next year. Hope Millie is okay after eating her stolen easter egg.

Thanks, Lindalooloo, hope your granddaughter enjoyed seeing the photos. My granddaughter (18) wanted me to keep them in the garden until she could get to see them but Mother Duck had other ideas!
