A Walk in the Park

I know we’re all really fed up with the snow, but walking in the park this morning it was a real Winter Wonderland.
Hardly anyone there, the white silence was incredible.
A beautiful Conifer tree, etched in white.
The frozen lake….stilled by the ice.
No trains running today….:o(
Little Japanese Acer…sheltering from the snow.
A beautiful young Cedrus Deodara…….
Plenting of activity in the centre of the lake
And more living life on the edge……..:o)

Lovely photos and such beautiful trees specially the Cedrus Deodara. Those ducks look quite happy really - they do have a good layer of fat on them.
The sign for Rinso took me back a bit, I used to use that. What is it doing there?
That looks like a lovely walk Janey.

Janey, BB beat me to it. your phrase, White Silence, is just perfect. We love the crunch of the snow underfoot too. Lovely blog and photos. At least the ducks arent frozen into the ice - like we've witnessed on our local canal.

Lovely walk, Janey. Our town park is mainly on a slope, so it is very popular for sledging right now. Certainly white - but not silent. :-))
