Thanks Neellan,we did have a bit of fun..as we kept moving display goods from a table in front of us..a box of "Funky frogs' at £1 each,and I can't remember the other one Snakes,I think..We weren't going to give you all any ideas for comments :o)

Cheers Amy..it is a very large Garden centre,like a lot of them these days,and some things were a bit pricey..but my friend in Lincs gave me a piece of her Red Baron grass,and a fuchsia cutting..a much better deal :o)

We kept moving around to find the best backdrop ! this was the only place without anyone else in the background..:o)...what posers.eh ? Lol.

Which fuchsia did your friend give you Sandra?

It's called Fantasia,Sue..a bit similar to Walz Jublateen in habit,flowers facing upwards,I believe..only very tiny,so I hope I can keep it alive..indoors this coming year,I think..

I would just like to say " thank you Sandra " we both had an enjoyable day and it was lovely to meet you both. I should be back on Goy very soon and Sue ( Lincslass ) , its not exactly a new hairstyle apart from a light perm, the sun abroad has bleached my hair ! Need to get it coloured and hide the grey ! Hahaa! It would have been nice Sandra if Sue could have come as well ! Another time , maybe !

Yes,maybe,Rose..and don't worry about any grey bits,my Grandma used to say they were just as warm as the others :o) ..not that I noticed any,just the sun kissed look ! Lol.I'm glad you enjoyed it as much as we did..xx

I googled the fuchsia Sandra - very pretty. There's a You Tube thing about it if you're interested. (I didn't watch it )

Great pic of you both Sandra.....hey, Brigg GC is in my neck of the woods too.....always popping there, did you look in their plant sale section, you can get some real bargains in there!

Crikey,Janey..so many Goyers in the area.! mind you,like Yorkshire,it covers a wide area..next time we visit,which is usually only yearly,sometimes it is two years,depending on what we are both doing.(.busy life being retired !) Lol.
I will have to make it public ,and let you all know..it would be great if we could all meet up..and no,we didn't really check out the plant sales..too busy chatting,and eating..and posing! :o)

Yes thanks, I loved being with everyone and have taken it easy since they all headed home and feel fine again now. In fact it's a bit TOo quiet!

I thought I recognised the GC having been there a few times I live nearer to the woodthorpe one It's so nice to be able to meet up with people you chat to looks like you had a good time

The GC near me is nearer to Alford & is a sister one to Brigg There is one near Louth owned by a different company but its also a lovely Garden centre I'm interested Waddy sounds like a good idea

Ahh.....now that's where you were Sandra, I was there nay yesterday with a friend.....yes it is huge!! But has lots to look at and a great cafe and gift place. Absolutely chocker right now with Xmas goodies and a train ride specially for the little ones......Jill and I would've enjoyed that, only they said we weren't old enough.....:((. X

Waddy and I were only talking about visiting sometime in Spring,last Monday,when we met for lunch,and kindly offered me a lift :o) I hope you would be able to join us,when we decide on a date,that would be great! What a meanie not letting you young uns having a ride on the train..! I'm sure Santa would let you visit him instead..sorry,no one allowed to sit on his knee anymore..spoilsports ! :o)) x
