Thank You

It’s just over 10 years since I stumbled upon GOY by googling a question which led me to the site, AndrewR replied and then I joined, I had never been a forum member before but Terratoonie amongst others was very welcoming and I soon made some special friends, I was hooked.
Without you guys my garden wouldn’t be what it is today, you’ve taken me to the next level. So a big thank you to my GOY family for helping me create my garden.
I’ve always loved gardening but you have taught me so much and introduced me to some great plants. The ideas I’ve gleaned has been invaluable and then there are the special plant gifts you’ve sent me, you’ve answered my endless questions and given words of encouragement and then there’s the kindness and friendliness, I could go on.
Christmas seems an appropriate time to say a big thank you.
Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a great gardening 2019.

Its all been said - I always enjoy looking at your lovely garden and like most of us have learned a lot over the years. Long may it continue - its part of my day now! A very happy Christmas to one and all, and best wishes for the new year in our gardens.

Beautifully put, Dawn, and it seems we all feel the same as you but hadn’t quite thought of saying so. I also joined ten years ago though can’t quite believe the speed of that time passing! Yes GoY is a brilliant site, and I feel very lucky to have made so many friends: generous with advice, plants and seeds too.
I hope you and your family enjoy a very happy time at Christmas, and have an excellent gardening year in 2019 :)

Doesn't time pass quickly? Even our 11-year-old granddaughter commented the same to us a few weeks ago!
Last April I also completed my 10th year on GoY! Like many others, I also found GoY while looking for a certain plant, joined, then stayed for the long run! I've made friends here as well & received & sent plants over these 10 years! Here's to the next 10 years for all of us!

I'm a member of the 10 yr club too, Dawn! What a great day it was when I found GoY. Your garden has been a source of inspiration for me too. (especially enjoyed your recent pond blog) Happy New Year 2019 and may all of our gardens continue to flourish.

Good to hear from so many happy people. Better than the
politicians. Happy times in 2019 for everyone.
I wonder if H.M.The Queen knows about GOY ? She seemed a bit fed up in her speech on Christmas Day. I suppose she gets all the bad news we are never told.

I wouldn't mind a snoop round the Queen's Garden and Prince Charles :-)

Some of my gardening group went to Highgrove a few years ago: they had to take passports and were very closely monitored. Free tea and biscuits though!

Really Sheila, not too relaxing then but the free tea a biscuits a bonus :-)
