Merry Christmas Everyone, lets hope we can all get where we want to be for Christmas. My daughter made it home be it with the help of a walking stick. I look forward to seeing you all again – after too much of everything. Please take a moment to join me in thinking of all those who cannot be at home and wish them and there loved ones a happy reunion in 2011. Cheers Denise.

Happy Christmas to you Denise, I'm glad your daughter made it home. When I'm warm and snug in bed I often think of those who have no bed at all and even more so at this exceptionally cold Christmastime. We are indeed lucky as Sheilabub says.

I agree with you, Denise, there are so many people for whom Christmas day will be like any other day of the year. Thank goodness for organisations who voluntarily give of their time to run soup kitchens and the like. Also, the many troops deployed around the world, their families will miss them so much.

Nice thought, Denise. I've also been thinking of people who might be on their own . . . perhaps elderly folk who can't get out because of the snow. If we're warm and dry, we're the lucky ones. Have a lovely time with your daughter. Cheers!
