changing ativars

Thats why I rarely take much notice of the avatars these days, just look at the name underneath.:)

As long as you recognize mine Denise, that's all that matters :0))

There's a couple that have fooled me recently !
Spritz and Alzheimer both have golden labdrador avatars curently and that's 'got' me !!!

I've always had the same avatar photo....
... my Welsh Terrier pushing his garden wheelbarrow...

Yes, it is sometimes confusing when other members' photos change!

I change mine occasionally because I get bored of my same old pic. Maybe I should just change to my favourite and stick with it. Sorry if I've caused any confusion. :o(

Yeah drc, There was a lot of cat Avitars a couple of weeks ago (i wonder why :) and some of the cats were the same colour which confused me a bit, and just as you get used to the new one's, they go and change them again hehe.. I dont mind tho its all Pucka..

Ach, we don't wear the same clothes all the time so why the same avatar? Like Amblealice I look for the name first.

I changed mine to a toad for a few hours as a joke for Moongrower and Bamboo - I won't do it again, promise! I like my photo of Henry! :-))

I have to say that I get a bit confused too....and apologise for adding to it by swapping two dogs for one......so I will return to two....as I really prefer it ...no preferential treatment etc...even if Lady Di was saying Hi ....LOL
Actually it is the colour of people's avatars that catches my eye as I scroll down and - yes we DO change our clothes most days MG...but I for one am invariably in the same colour scheme!!!! My friends all say I should have been called Olive Brown :>>>)))

I just thought that as my original one's flowers had gone over it was time for a change & as I occasionally mention Morning Glories....;o)

No - it was me - I said I'd be a HUGE snail, to wind you all up - then I changed to a toad! heehee. (I had a silly 5 minutes - sorry!)

It dosent bother me as they say" variety is the spice of life".

I've no idea who's who anymore but then it doesn't take much to confuse me. lol It's good to have a change but not too often and definitely too many members at once!

WEll there was a reason a lot of us became cats but that is water under the bridge now... I'll probably go back to me after I've had my hair cut again. I have hair that grows faster than some weeds... and right now any pix would be dire, added to which I have acne rosacea which means for a lot of the time the skin on my face looks red and angry - just one of those things that happened in my early 50s - sigh

Been there and had that MG....and I was only in my 30's at the time. Just about lived on Tetracycline if I was going anywhere.....I was SO self-conscious.
No rhyme nor reason for it either ...but I found that getting in a paddy about anything sure didn't help. It did wear off after a few years...leaving behind a few scars.
I envy you the hair though.....I'm going to end up as one of those wizened up old wifies in a geriatric wheel chair with a wee wisp of a white top-knot in my dotage...not so far off either....deep sigh!!!!

I'm allergic to most antibiotics so have just learned to live with Alz. It doesn't scar as such just leaves my face looking reddened.

Well that got you all going which has surprised me. But I somehow I dentify the Ativar with each of you as it somehow defines you and when you change them it is like you have had cosmetic surgery and I cannot relate to the new you easily? Lovely to see some of you again.

I was a cat when I joined but now I'm me (for better or worse!). I do like avatars showing the person, does make them seem more real.

yes me to, i do likie to see people , but i can understand why some choose not to be seen,ie because of jobs etc

I am SO pleased to see you all coming back to "life" folks....when you are still a relative newby as I am....it doesn't half baffle you when things change just when you are getting to "know" folk. SO..... I am well pleased that you raised this Drc....looks like you have started something!!!!

I don't like people changing their avatars. I get used to recognising them. It's like someone changing their face.

But I have changed mine this week lol. Well I had to because I have a new page and name now. But this is the avatar you've got for me from now on ( I think anyway lol )

It is confusing sometimes if people choose to change frequently, but it is good to see new phases for our friends, and their faces if they care to show them, pets and flowers trees anything which speaks to them enough to wish to share with us as a manifestation of themselves, another facet another piece of the puzzle.... Not too often though i'll agree, but then I always read the names of new avatars,...Watch out I'm getting tired of mine !!! :~)))
