work this morning , home by lunchtime, changed into my old clothes and straight out into the garden, in the 20’s again here today, i could really get used to this beautiful weather. got quiet a bit done today, got the edging done around the patio slabs, looks a lot tidier now, washed the dogs, even washed out the bird cage, bundle of energy today i was lol swept the patios and weeded in between the slabs, i even had time to just sit and watch the birds coming and going. yep it definitely is a good life. its always the simplest things in life that are the best.

Sounds like you got a lot done Irish. Good for you. It's surprising what you can do when you're enjoying yourself, and doesn't time fly when you're in the garden !!
Well I went and bought a digital camera this afternoon. The poor shop assistant must have been fed up and glad when I left. I still don't have a clue how to get the pics on to the computer. I've asked my next door neighbour what to do and he's coming in later on to show me.
I'd rather be with my plants though - I'm not a person for gadgets. they're too complicated for me. You're right - it's the simple things that are best.

Well done, Irish! A good day's work. Blodyn, once you have got the hang of your new camera - which WON'T take long, you will love it! Take lots of shots,of the same thing from different angles, you can look at them and delete the ones you don't like! It's good fun... We are looking forward to seeing your photos.

I bet you wouldn't get such a good sense of satisfaction/achievement at work - unless you were a gardener by profession, of course.
