Doing the rounds

I thought I`d have a wander around the garden this morning armed with the camera in case there were any pictures worth taking. I was as it happens, pleasantly surprised. I knew there were a couple of flowers still hanging on but they were in pretty good condition considering its late November.
Scabious `perfecta`
Black bamboo
Pelargonium `Raspberry Ripple`
Laura Ford rose in bud
Laura Ford hips
Perry and granddaughter Sphie, the very best of friends.
On Tuesday I will brave the cold wind and get outside and do some weeding, at least that is the intention. Hopefully I`ll do an hour at least, weeding is never my favourite task but in cold weather?…well you know what I mean. I say Tuesday because tommorrow Jim is going sea fishing and I have to walk Perry and wrap some Christmas presents before they overwhelm me. I usually wrap them as I buy them to make things easier but this year I`ve left things and I now have a pile of the children`s gifts that need wrapping beore I send them to Father Christmas! And beofe my daughter Kerry starts snooping…shes much worse than the children…lol!
Anyway, must go and read some blogs. :o)

Surprising just what can be seen on a drab November day ... love the Rose hips ... and the last photo is just gorgeous! I haven't even bought presents yet ... never mind wrapping them ... I hate this idea of a'wish-list' for my children where I'm asked to choose items from! Where's the element of surprise in that? Fings ain't wot they used to be.............

LOVELY to see the Laura Ford rose . . . I have one climbing up a bit of trellis, and have never seen another in anyone else's garden. My OH wanted to get rid of it (OK, it is a bit lanky), but I love that scent!!
Thanks for showing us the pics.
