I couldn`t help myself...honestly!

No I really couldn`t…..it was my car that turned into the garden centre all by itself…lol! I don`t know what came over it. You`d think after spending a busy morning working at a garden centre that I wouldn`t feel the need to visit another but I did and I parted with more of my hard-earned cash……………
Sisyrinchuim striatum….I just had to have it, I`ve liked this plant for a while but haven`t seen it on sale anywhere until now.
At just £1.99 this is just one of a variety of Pulmonarias. This one is ocupol and at that price I`m going back for more.
And of course what garden centre visit would be complete for me without a different variety of Heuchera/Heucherella, this one being Heucherella Alabama Sunrise, a stunner in my humble opinion.
Perry is getting me back for shutting him out of my vegetable growing area. Yesterday evening he chewed up my tube if hand cream and ate the last two baking potatoes without any ill-effects! I suppose if he can`t dig up the seed potatoes I planted he`ll eat the ones we were going to have for our dinner…sigh! Oh dear, I have to laugh but I do wonder what he`s going to do next…lol! :o))

Great finds at the GC, LD :) It must be that satnav getting the favourite destinations entered into its memory again....GC here we come...lol
Perry hasn't worked out how to remove your barrier sticks then? Seems he's worked out to be mischievous in other ways though!

I have planted mine up into a hanging basket over in Teds Corner. It's a bit of an experiment so I will have to see if it survives!

Yes, my car also knows the way to the GC's on it's own by now lol. Nice you were able to get that plant at last.
Perry is doing a great job at paying you back lol :)

Thanks everyone, In between looking after the grandchildren I found the time to bed in the new plants. Perry has been really good today...probably planning his next move...lol! ;o)

I have had that sysirynchium for many years, but not much left this spring! I have grown more from saved seed though. I like the heuchera, pretty colour.
I did pay a visit to a GC yesterday but only bought boring things like sand, grit, compost and veg seeds for the OH! This GC is expensive; next week I will try a more reasonable one.

I agree with you, the car should have known better. What else could a poor girl do but spend spend spend....
