Heard today on the radio that the jet stream is moving to where it should be so we will get our summer back.... it's been so long ... let's hope we recognise it:-))

I heard that too, BA - we should notice some improvement by the end of this week, and certainly next week.

Its been better here today, a lot warmer and now 8.30pm and I can see some blue in the sky so hopefully things are going to change for us all, I`ve been out sorting the roses again, things are going mad here, everything is so tall this year I`m staking as many as I can, I think they are trying to find the sun as well, lol.

With any luck Goy will go all quite next week cos we'll all be out in the sunshine sorting out our gardens :-)

Well dont want to upset you Lincs but we had lovely sunshine today been in the garden all day long.

Stroller, your just bragging now. We have had (wait for it, you'll never guess) yep more rain. The rive just by j14 on the M6 has only just started to become visible again, more rain today and what a surprise theres not quite so much grass visible lol. But I shouldn't moan too much the sun did come out to play this afternoon. Was sat in the car with my coat on (against the rain) absolutely killed me it got that hot lol (in the car that is).

Everything I've seen suggests getting better from the end of this week. Fingers crossed eh. Praying for dry weather on Saturday as I'm supposed to take my nan to the open garden at Ashwood Nursery.

Hope your asthma's not giving you so much grief anymore. I suffered with it as a child so you have my greatest sympathies.

Lovely sweet pea shot :-) I spent most of week coughing and used inhaler for first time in over a year so totally understand how you feel. Cough keeping me (and OH) awake at night so hopefully the drier weather on the way will lift the pollen up and away and kill off the spores caused by the damp weather.

Well that's odd - my asthma's playing me up too... I find clarityn helps along with the inhalers...

I went a long time without using mine but I`m terrible this year, the coughing is bad at night and so darned annoying.
By way of a change its one of those days yet again, although I am being entertained by the antics of my resident Doves who have decided its time to start yet another brood....

Erm, do you think it'd help if we gave up smoking, Lincslass... yea, alright, I'll get my coat...

No doubt it would Bamboo, trouble is it wouldn`t help my mood, which would cause mega problems in the home, I`ve tried many a time but afraid I always backslide if something upsets me, I think the only thing I haven`t tried is hynotherapy, the tablets caused manic depression and the patches just do not work with me at all....

I've never managed more than half a day without one, and anyway, I reckon I'd be the size of a large block of flats in no time at all, which is just as big a problem as smoking anyway.

I have to be honest Bamboo, I`m tiny anyway but since dads illness and then losing him last xmas I did lose far too much weight, I swear I`m shrinking in the wet, I`d be pleased about that side effect as regards myself, my brother has given up and really packed the weight on, sometimes one just can`t win, lol....

Shrinking in the wet, lol - I'm not tiny but not big either - but I would be if I didn't smoke, I like to eat as much as I like to puff...
