Thats the one Sheila, I`m the other side of town but can hear the music, its still going ahead, I`ve been out deadheading my roses but its raining again now so had to retreat indoors...

Nice to be able to enjoy the music without leaving the house . . . sounds like my kind of idea!

Your garden looks lovely. It's amazing how sturdy lilies can be! My roses got a battering but the lilies just stand proud :-)

been like summer here today sue and rain started about 6pm so a nice day, did a bit of weeding and proping up of plants, cant cut grass though so wet,

Eventhough most of us feel a bit despondent about our gardens there are still some lovely plants out there to enjoy! Ours take some finding though in amongst all the greenery!

Thanks Julie and Pixi, Wildrose my bottom half is mostly in the shade so I`m having a long wait for some of them to flower, its lovely and green though.
San mine was running with water at the bottom, still cut it though, lol, my jeans were a very soggy, greeny/brown mess...

It's difficult to get anything done in the garden this summer. Nice to know you were able to mow the lawn. I've given up ...

It's 11:30 pm and I can still hear "music" from my neighbours. Grr

Continuous heavy rain can be so depressing, but once the sun comes out again, wow, there's always an extra special quality of freshness and brilliance to it isn't there. It creates its own unique atmosphere, one that I've always felt deserves to be trumpeted in its own right.

You have some great colour still Ll, especially love that delicate pinkish penstemon. I agree with Rosegit about the special quality of brilliance and freshness when we do get a little sun...just wish it was the other way round though:-)
