we had it all morning but its stopped now thank goodness, and its beginning to thaw, nice photo's lin, that fire looks welcoming,

Snoop, they always get into trouble if they step on the garden unless they are in their own run but yes I am a softie indoors, that to some people would seem to be the wrong way round, LOL, as I write Tipsy is on my chair and Harry is occupying the other one, Caspar is across the radiator shelf in the kitchen and both boys are still asleep on the rug........Muggins has to go feed the birds..

we had snow this morning but its gone now and raining... the garden looks nice in the snow... best place to be is by the fire... O))

It stopped here thankfully mid afternoon and the roads are clearing....hope thats the lot!

I love the colour of your cat, he looks a yellowy white and yep my dog is right in front of the fire, the cats are all in their beds after venturing outside for 5 mins this morning!

It was all a bit shivery until I saw the wonderful cosy scene at the end!

We had a little snow yesterday but it came and went quickly. Its lovely to look at but I loathe the mess when it all thaws. Animals are so clever at grabbing all the best places. That fire looks so inviting.

my garden looks pristine too. 1cm coverage this morning, but by the time i got home tonight it was 10cm and it is still falling.
the pond surface is like one of those slush puppy drinks and the rabbits do not look overly chuffed in thier hutch. they have lots of straw for extra warmth if only they would drag it around and sit on it. stupid things :p

That looks very warm in front of the fire. I hope you joined them. I was given a token to have a pedicure from a friend. I had to go this morning and bring open toed saddles. I was then to wait four hours or I would spoil the nail polish.........my poor feet are still cold. :0( I felt a bit mad walking from the shop to the car in my bare feet and pink saddles.

It looks lovely and cosy in your room! Best place to be, just looking out at it ! We have it here now! Not for long, I hope!

Ooh Linda if my feet get cold I feel cold all over, I do sympathise.....

It did ease off for me to sort out the feeders and the birds came immediately, the dogs didn`t even raise their heads, normally they get to the door before me and I get barged out of the way, I`ve had to force them out tonight since eating their dinner (they were not impressed,lol) its all slushy on the yard so with a bit of luck it won`t hang around for long.
I know you don`t like it Hywel so thankyou, I `m ok now thanks, I have at longlast got rid of that darn cough and cold.
Linda I bet your toes were blue, I think I would have given that a miss, LOL...
We used to bring our hutch into the little leanto for the winter Seaburn, we don`t have rabbits now but I well remember how they always flattened the extra bedding that I provided for them.........

your garden looks beautiful even in the snow! Harry seems a right little darling! My cat Tyga is curling up too hogging the best place on my hearth! :))

It seems to have been quite bad in Lincs....again! I have to laugh because when I moved to Scotland I thought I would have lots of snow, which back then, I loved the idea of... but here in East Angus we have a very benign mild climate compared to some parts. Even the N.of England is usually colder than here. Nowadays my Mum (also in Lincs.) gets loads of snow, and we hardly get any! So far we've had a very thin dusting, and 5 miles away there is a good inch at the Country Park.

Its worse today Karen as we awoke to freezing fog, that made it lethal in places, I think I`m getting old, lol, used to love it, now I only see the chaos it can cause...

Oh yes, freezing fog is awful. We had three weeks of that in jan 2006 when we moved here. I was flat on my back with sciatica having done the move ourselves! But it was a cracking summer that year!

I think the pets have the best idea Lincs, please take care when trying to feed the birds, poor OH slipped on the back garden steps on Christmas morning going to put the water and bird food out, he now looks as if he has a football down the back of his trousers and his bum has gone from black to a yellowy colour - thankfully nothing was broken.
Its not stopped snowing here since late yesterday afternoon, so I shall just make myself comfortable in front of the fire, isn`t time like these that you appreciate not having to go out to work.

My hubby left the house at 12.45am Stroller, he`s stuck near a roundabout 2 miles away from the depot, been there for over 3hrs, its now 5.30 pm, he has been told to stay overnight somewhere but can`t move because the traffic is stuck, soon it will be illegal to even drive...

Hi Terra, long time no see, hope you are all ok, my pals are all spending most of their days in the warmest spots, I brave it to sort out the birds and thats about it....
