First Haircut of the Year.....

I can't wait to cut my grass...yours looks fab..

Always feels good to get the first cut done especially as we could get a lot more rain yet so may be a while bfore it can be cut again.

Its absolutely pouring down again, so I chose my jobs well, wet and warm good growing weather they say don't they....

its amazing how good the gardens look after their haircuts, looks really tidy now Lincslass :O) Mine is too wet so it will have to stay as it is. But not really that much grass to cut these days as every year a little bit more goes. lol. Lovely to see the sun shining again, nice morning here but wind has got up again and the clouds are looming overhead once more.

Well done Sue ... too cold and windy lately for me to stay long outdoors !

I really envy you Lincslass as my grass is just so wet. It was covered with snow this morning.

Hello Lincslass - we cut our front lawn very lightly this am - a big decision but it paid off - toffee looks as if he is enjoying his session in the border - your garden looks good - Jane

Lawn looks really smart now. You were lucky to get the chance to do it. I don't think ours will EVER dry out again!!!

I knew I should have cut mine when it was dry Sue ! Now, its too wet again ! Yours looks so neat and tidy !

Rose I am so glad I took that opportunity, its rained every day since and we are sodden once again, I'm attempting my Big Birdwatch Count but even the birds are sheltering, typical isn't it, normally we get loads visiting...

Obviously we have no lawn on our balcony, LOL!, but there is a patch of grass, (can't call it a lawn!), in front of us that the town council cuts pretty frequently but it's really out of hand now with the grass about as tall as it can get! The winter has been so mild & warm for the most part that the grass has never really stopped growing. In a few places around town I see the grass has been cut by the council workers & ours could really do with a good cut!

Your lawn looks so much better now it's been cut! It does show off your garden much better now. :-))
