The Moon ...Or would you call it Madness...

Well the rain and clouds tried to spoil it but we did get there…
The first three I took between 6-15pm and 6-20pm on the 13th Nov..

So pleased I got them as by 6-30pm the moon had been hidden by the clouds and the rains came, yesterday morning it was still raining, the sun did manage to shine for a little while during the afternoon, by teatime it was once again raining and no chance of seeing even a glimmer of moonlight..
Our Brynner, although a very large dog is scared of the dark since he met a Hedgehog a few months back, yes I know its quite funny when you think of the difference in size, lol, he often now refuses to go down the garden without an escort, its always muggins as I am the last one to go to bed in this house, sometimes its quite annoying if its raining and I am wandering the garden in the early hours but last night the boy did good, unbeknown to me the clouds had cleared…

12-35am this morning and I was sitting on my patio taking some photographs, call it madness if you like , thankyou Brynner you are forgiven…..

Wonderful Linclass. Well done Brynner. Our Samoyed Randall went walkies late at night with OH. He used to pick up a hedgehog and bring it home as a peace offering for me if I had scolded him during the day. It looks like our weather has been similar. It was quite mild last evening but it was very cold all day and has been raining off and on. We had a flurry of snow on Monday but it did not lie.

Karen I was thinking along those lines as I was sat looking at it, lol.

S'gran Brynner is a very large Flatcoat Retriever, supposed to make perfect gundogs, trouble is he doesn't know it, he has never learnt the art of retrieving, he will fetch but then doesn't let go until you grab him and take his toys out of his mouth, all good fun, doesn't like water and has so many funny quirks its unbelievable, mind you he is good company, gorgeous and very loving, if we scold him or ignore him he picks up something he knows he should not have, just so as we chase him to rescue whatever he has picked up, like an attention seeking child....

You got some great shots there, Linclass especially that 2nd to last one.
The met office said the best sights for here would be on the 14th at 5.50pm as it comes over the horizon & would be red but too much cloud cover to see anything sadly.

Not madness Sue. I remember going up the top of one of our mountains here at 4.30 a.m. (with company I must stress !) to watch Haley's commet :D
or was that madness as well ...

I'm pleased you saw the moon. We've had rain here as usual.

Poor Brynner, I know how he feels. I don't like the dark either. We always have a lamp lit on the landing all night lol :D

Oh now that I would have loved to do Hywel, definitely not on my own either, lol.
Brynners's a soft haporth at times, it was ever so funny the night he met up with Mr Hog, he literally went into reverse and shot behind me, then was nuzzling the back of my legs trying to force me down the path in front of him, I have to put the light on before he'll move off the patio now and stay to keep him company.
We've had a lot of rain here as well for the past couple of weeks, that horrrible drizzle that stays around for hours and just makes everywhere damp and miserable but at least its quite mild for the time of year....

Great photos of the Moon. Lincs! you did very well to capture such good shots!

We weren't able to see it either as the skies were clouded over all the time. We did get to see the moonshine through the clouds as we went to bed, around11pm, but that was all! :-((

Linclass Brynner is a family pet and you would not change him for the world.
