It was a beautiful day and I have visited Kew Gardens for my first time, so much to see ……
Palm House.
Water Lily House.
Inside and out it was lovely.
Kew Palace.
Queen Charlottes Cottage.
Japanese Gateway and Pagoda,
Lakes and fountains
Feathered Friends alas too many people for the little ones, who were heard but not seen.lol.
The real beauty was outside in the gardens themselves, Autumn colours at their best..
See I even made sure I was in one photograph…
Lastly a glasshouse for our mate Ian (Digger).
It was grand and I`m going back to see the rest……..Springtime next I think..

Kew Gardens - wonderful! Did you see Robert there? LOL.
What a treat for you to go there for your first visit - you'll be back!
I remember when it cost 1d to get in! That's almost a lifetime ago, though. LOL.

A wonderful place, this! I've not been for a few years but it's always worth the longish trip to get there, and you can happily spend the entire day ( and a lot of money! ) there.
Lovely blog....bet you can't wait to go back next year!
;-)

Thanks all I`ve waited years to get there and it more than lived up to expectations, we only had 5hrs to cram as much in as possible due to the fact we went on a bus, lets face it you cannot rush things like that, so next time its car or train, I have my book now so can plan my next visit....

Brill blog LL but that greenhouse is not a patch on mine! ! ! (or is that the other way round?) Lol.
I've never been, we don't have much reason to go that way. (did it enough times when I was working) :~((

Wonderful photos, LL! I loved all your photos of Kew Gardens. I haven't been there either. On my list of places to visit before I'm 60 (not much time to go before the big six - oh!) together with Chelsea Garden Show. (Won't make it though before the big six - oh! :-(
You did yourself proud to get in as much as you did in only 5 hours - next time make sure you have at least five days! ;-)

How wonderful to be able to visit there. !

What wonderful photos - I'm jealous. We visited Kew in May this year after an absence of about thirty years and my photos are not a patch on yours. However I was in a party of eight and more than half of these are not gardeners so it wasn't an easy visit although I enjoyed it. I hope to go again sometime.

Oh dear, Mareli - the ones who aren't interested in plants just want to walk past them, don't they! They definitely don't 'look' at things in the same way.
Go with just gardeners next time! LOL.

Thanks for the lovely photos of Kew, I was there last year and I have to say it was a really enjoyable day out. We went in the July and it wasn`t looking its best, mind you the rain we had last year saw to that!
