Primrose

Love Primroses and they really do herald the coming of Spring, don't they Amy?

They certainly do Shirley , they always make me think of how we use to go out collecting bunches of them when we were children , the scent from a whole bunch was amazing ......

Oh yes Amy, I remember doing that as a child, we're hard pushed to find them growing wild around here now, far too much housing has taken over ... :o(

That's a shame Shirley ,I planted some in our garden so each year we have more from the seed .. I like the violets to but they are beginning to grow to much everywhere like weeds I have to hoe some out !

Mine came from Cornwall a few years ago, paid for, not pinched! I know just what you mean about the invasive Violets as they are spreading everywhere in my Mum's garden ... even pushing through under a fence to take over the garden path ... when we eventually get some sunny days I shall remove them ... not this week by the look of the forecast ... :o(

Hope you are right Amy, such pretty little flowers starting to pop up now here and there in my garden too ;0)

I have to admit I do love these flowers, ours are out now, it would not be an english garden without these pretty plants...

It seems to be everybodies favourite little flower as we look forward to the promise of spring after a long winter . :o)

Lot of leaves but no flowers here yet but I keep looking :)

I little sunshine would help Gill , I don't think we are going to have too much of that any time soon :o(
