Popped to the beach today to see the waves. With the wind still blowing around 50mph we didn’t get out if the van…i just love to sit and watch the power if the sea.
How the bird fly in such strong winds I will never know all calm here this morning. Can’t wait to get outside and move some muck. Thanks for reading.

I love Pembrokeshire - and have visited many times and walked the coastal path - especially up Newport way - I love the sea in all its moods - we sometimes get away for a long weekend and just walk with the dog - cameras at the ready - and we often call at a little garden centre in St Davids to find something special - Jane

Glad u enjoyed the pics..
Jane I don't know that area very well it is over an hour away by car. But I am guessing I know the nursery you are referring to. Tucked away behind the houses on the edge of the village. It is my favourite treat to visit there. Bernie who runs it has been one of my inspirations for my addiction to succulents and has been a hive of information and encouragement.

Really enjoyed your pics Sandra.....I love the coast in winter, and as I haven't visited our coastline for quite a while, pics of yours are a real treat, especially sitting by the log burner....:)).

I know the nursery too - a very helpful owner. I'll be passing it tomorrow on the way to my tai chi class. Let me know next time you're coming!
For any Harry Potter fans out there, FreshwaterWest was used in the last film - we passed through when the filming was on - cars parked all along the road with folk tryng to get a glimpse of the stars!
Is that the Irish ferry? Glad I wasn't on it!!

It was so cold Janey...I couldn't see what pics I was taking till I got home. Enjoy your log burner
Not the ferry Stera a huge tanker on the way out if the haven. We spent soo much time watching the Filming of potter and Robin Hood it was all so exciting.

Always exciting to see the waves, we get some very high seas here, we are literally just down the road from the cargo ship Hoegh Osaka which has caused so many problems, have tried to photograph it but very difficult without a zoom lens.

The sea looks deceptively calm, Sandra. I also love the many different moods of the sea.
