As some of you know I am a recycling junkie..today I searched out pictures of my shoe collection to see how they have done…
I loved these wellies…
18 months on they are growing well
This one was a boot sale bargain..those are my podgy feet the croc is about 2 feet long.
It was a must buy at £4.
filled with gritty soil and filled with succulents May 2014
It survived outside during last winter tucked up against the south side of the house so that’s where it’s staying.

I am over the moon with it’s growth in 18 months
This one belonged to an old friend of mine and has just joined the memory plant gang after her recent passing. Even more special now….
Thanks for reading….

The large croc is ideal for that. Was it made as a planter or something else, do u think?

Right that settles it, no more shoes/boots to the tip until I've checked if I can plant them up. Yours look great!

love to get a laugh BG...Linda
Waddy i will be waiting to see your planted shoes..
Stera they do seem happy.
Paul apparently it was a 'sasquatch dog bed' i paid 4 quid but i looked it up and apparently it would cost £99 new!!!!! I paid £4....it is made out of the same stuff as crocs and i think the insulation helps in the cold weather.
