i’ve been picking our tomatoes and thought i’d take some photos.
amish gold…. just like eating a peach.
jersey devil…..love the shape and colour tastes good too.
pepolino…lots of fruit… the kids like the little ones.
speckled roman…..great taste and looks fantastic. produces lots of fruit of different sizes
sun cherry extra sweet…..by far everyones favorite…they are disapearing so fast…lol
shirley….such reliable plants
lovely sliced with cheese….Julians favorite…
i just love picking them…..
over 2lb german red strawberry….and it tasted lovely….
ildi …..hundreds of tiny fruit.
elberta girl…..loads of fruit…very juicy..

there not just me Marguerite. there eight of us living here.
and lots of summer visitors. its lovely to pick our own havent done it for years.
i didn't know either Hywel. Julian ordered a lot from seeds of distinction. we are in discussions as to which varieties we grow next year.

Hywel at the moment the yellow one in the first picture 'amish gold' is my favorite. i've been munching my way through them.

I've grown some toms myself this year with some success & I'm really interested in all the different kinds.
Your pics are a great way of seeing how they all turn out & I can't believe that huge one! Fabulous!
The Amish gold might be what I have grown...I lost the label ... & the pepolino are like the ones I buy in the supermarket for an exhorbitant price!
As for the stripey one...didn't know you could get such a thing!

My goodness! Aren't they all healthy and prolific plants! They make my 4 plants look pathetic, especially as the outdoor ones may well have blight...again. :-(

thanks for the comments i'll pass them on th Julian. we all have different domains here and julians is defo the polytunnel. mine is the cactus shed (and most of the garden...lol)

I never knew there are so many types. ! I'll have to grow some toms next yr. Maybe my greenhouse will be up then.
