We went for a lovely walk in the sunshine today – what a lift for the spirits. This estate opens to the public every February specifically for the stunning swathes of snowdrops.

There were cyclamen too …

… and aconites, and a lake!

These photos cannot do justice to the wonderful spread that we enjoyed, but it’s a taste!

What a lovely day to spend a day!
It made me think that spring is on it's way!

Thanks Rose. Yes, it’s great to think that spring isn’t too far away.

A lovely garden as you say, Sheila! I love to see the first spring flowering bulbs. As I can't grow many on the balcony I know of places I visit around town every year for their spring flowers!

I have some Crocuses flowering at the present moment as well as some Hyacinths - one is a very deep pink but alas it flowers right down at ground level. But I suppose it will get a little higher as the days go by.

What a very pretty sight and in sunshine too. It is such a joy to see after a long, dull winter. So glad you had such a lovely time.

Looks a smashing place to visit, Sheila. I see lots of lush, Spring green colour there, as well as the pretty Spring colours. Looks a good day weather wise to have a walk round. I have to agree, those aconites are definitely a wow from me! A really splendid spread!
